At the entrance of the Ötztal Valley, between the villages Haiming, Sautens and Roppen, a unique outdoor park called AREA 47 opened its gates on Pentecost weekend.

On a 6.5-hectare area, at the intersection of 47th latitude and 11th longitude, at the mouth of the Ötztaler Ache River into the Inn River, nature and high tech were merged for an extraordinary recreational experience for everyone. The new outdoor location in the heart of Tyrol was virtually made for the side events of the adidas Sickline Extreme Kayak World Championship. Here you can enjoy a hearty dinner at the  River House, party unhindered until dawn and then retreat into a rustic wooden tepee or cosy Tyrolean-style log cabins (lodges).

The wooden tepees are 22 € per person/night including breakfast. Maximum group size per tepee are 7 persons, minimum group size are 4 persons. The camp offers a total of 26 tepees with a total of 182 beds.

Please note that you must bring your own sleeping bag!

The Tyrolean-style log cabin lodges are 32 € per person/night including breakfast and accommodate 4 persons in 2 rooms with 2 single beds, respectively. In total, AREA 47 offers 13 lodges with a total of 52 beds.
